Drop-in HIIT:
Pool Swim

From now until early June, start your Sunday morning right with Coach Andrew for a structured Masters style Swim at Lord Byng Pool.

Note: Open water swim season is just around the corner…as soon as the water temperature at Sasamat Lake is swimmable in May, we’ll head out there for a few sessions. This will still be on Sunday mornings. The group will then transition to Tuesday morning ocean swims, likely starting in June.

Geared towards all levels of swimmers who are comfortable in a pool and can swim 200m freestyle non-stop.

Sundays from 8:50-10:00am. Please arrive 10 minutes early to allow for parking, coach’s instruction and dryland warm-up.

We rent the entire 6-lane Lord Byng Pool at 3990 West 14th Avenue for these workouts, hence the additional cost.

What to expect:
Other than a refreshing start to your day, expect a few minutes dryland warm-up; warm-up mixed with technique drills; a 30 minute main set and 5 minute cool-down, for a total of 60 minutes. Because technique is paramount in this sport, Coach Andrew will be scanning for improvements in your stroke and body positioning.

What to bring:
Goggles, swim cap, hand paddles, fins, water bottle
