AE's popular drop-in Swimming HIIT session will return indoors in January of 2024. Stay tuned! And stay strong this off-season with my drop-in Strength HIIT classes, the Hour Of Power, Monday evenings 6:00-7:00pm outdoors, and Thursday mornings from 6:30-7:30am indoors at Cadence Fitness Studio.

Drop-in HIIT:
Open Water
Swim Workouts
From now until mid-September, start your Tuesday morning right with Coach Andrew for a structured Open Water Swim at either Kitsilano, Jericho or Locarno Beach.
Who:
Geared towards all levels of swimmers who are comfortable in open water.
When:
Tuesdays from 6:30-7:30am. Please arrive at least 10 minutes early to allow for parking, wetsuit application, coach’s instruction and dryland warm-up.
Where:
Kitsilano Beach, Jericho Beach or Locarno Beach
What to expect:
Other than a refreshing start to your day, expect a few minutes dryland warm-up; warm-up mixed with technique drills; a 30 minute main set and 5 minute cool-down, for a total of 60 minutes. Because technique is paramount in this sport, Coach Andrew will be darting around on his trusty paddle board scanning for improvements in your stroke and body positioning.
What to bring:
Wetsuit, goggles, swim cap (2), hand paddles, 2 turntables and a microphone 🙂
