Drop-in HIIT:
Swimming Workouts

From now until end of May, start your Sunday morning with Coach Andrew and a maximum of 24 swimmers for a HIIT-focused, indoor swim at 25 metre Lord Byng Pool. Once June rolls around, we’ll head outdoors to our local beaches: Kitsilano Beach, Locarno Beach and Jericho Beach!

Who:
All levels of swimmers from beginners to competitive.

When:
Sundays from 8:00-9:00am. Please arrive at least 10 minutes early to allow for parking, coach’s instruction and dryland warm-up.

What to expect:
Other than a refreshing start to your day, expect a few minutes on-deck warm-up; warm-up mixed with technique drills; a 30 minute main set and 5 minute cool-down, for a total of 60 minutes. There’s even a 5 minute stretch on deck afterwards. Because technique is paramount in this sport, Coach Andrew will be scanning for improvements in your stroke and body positioning.

What to bring:
goggles, swim cap, hand paddles, ankle strap, fins, 2 turntables and a microphone
